Crabyon fibre is made from a blend of Chitosan and viscose. Chitosan is a derivative of chitin, a compound of natural origin which is obtained from the shells of crabs and crustaceans (food or processing waste).
Chitin is an absolutely "safe" material whose biocompatibility has been scientifically verified, so much so that it can also be used in the medical, healthcare and pharmaceutical fields. Very high antibacterial properties, completely biodegradable, anti-allergic and with good moisture absorption.
